Enterprise Academy - Social Responsibility

The Enterprise Academy – as a socially responsible incorporation - has been involved in various social and community activities including Child Care support, Early Childhood Education, and Music Education & Family Programs.

The Enterprise Academy (EA) is a member of:

  • The Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF, Ottawa). EA is a national Organization Member. The Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC association) is one of CCCF provincial affiliates.

We, Enterprise Academy, endorse the Community Plan for a Public System of Integrated Early Care and Learning proposed by CCCA-BC and ECEBC. This plan has a potential to make a real difference for BC children, women, families and communities.

We provide resources for music programs across North America and the Middle East so that kids and adults alike will have an opportunity to experience the joy of music. We also educate the public on the value of a musical education.

The Enterprise Academy believes that music participation is an essential element in the fabric of an enduring society. Our mission is to have the benefits of appreciating music available to everyone in the communities in which we serve, to promote its importance through education and media initiatives.

We understand the impact music has on the lives of people of all ages, and the tremendous gift it brings to participants and listeners. We understand the power of music on the soul and the vehicle it provides for our sanity, health and creativity. We want to help make that gift available to everyone, with the understanding that the process of participating in music is a means to this end; that people don't have to be rock stars or professional musicians to enjoy the rewards of music participation, and that age is not a factor in the enjoyment or ability to appreciate music. We can use music as a tool to fulfill our potential as community, as educators, as families, and as people.
We provide music education to children and their families. Our hope is that music programs can be more accessible to families in our community. Involvement in music provides children with skills that will benefit them now and for a lifetime. By contributing to the growth and achievement of children through EA, we hope to help create strong individuals that will thrive and one day contribute to their own communities. The benefits of music education are far reaching, as music connects and inspires everyone that is involved -students, parents, musicians and educators. By sustaining music education for our children and youth we hope that music remains a vital part of our communities.
